IT planning - Approach
Our approach to IT planning is deceptively simple.
We find out what questions our client needs us to answer - and we answer them.
We have found from experience that clients do not fall into neat boxes. Some questions are common. For example: "Where should we be going with IT over the next three years?", "How should we structure our IT Department?", or "How should we be exploiting the Internet?". Even these questions can be tackled in different ways depending on your situation. We therefore avoid predefined 'methodologies' and 'interview everyone in sight' approaches in favour of constructing a project designed specifically to deliver the answers you need.
This approach has given us a strong track record for:
- cost effectiveness
- delivering plans that are accepted as sensible and practical
- and, most important, delivering plans that are implemented successfully!
We have undertaken a wide range of IT planning exercises and we would be pleased to help you frame the right questions.
