Track record with management issues
We show below a few examples of how we have helped clients address management issues.
If you have an opportunity you would like to discuss with us, please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
A national accounting firm
The firm did not have an IT director and did not have a coherent plan for IT. Instead each office did its own thing. We were able to advise on a new IT management structure that proved highly cost-effective. As a result all the offices unified, working with a single set of systems implemented, purchased and supported nationally. This was a major technical and political achievement that resulted in substantial cost reductions for the firm as well as supporting better client services and promoting a stronger image to clients.
A financial services information provider
Our client deperately needed to replace its systems but was reluctant to take on the risks associated with major system developments.
We were able to advise on a range of issues including:
- How to set up and manage the development team
- The technolgies and methodologies to be used
- Approaches to defining and validating requirements
- Application of Pareto principles in design .
- Approaches to acceptance testing - internally and with clients
- Implementation strategies
As a result, our client successfully replaced its systems.
